Michelle Haag
Hey there! I am Mrs. Haag (pronounced like /H-egg/). I love learning and teaching- and hope to have the opportunity to be a part of your child’s educational journey! My goal in teaching is to help every student find something they love about learning, no matter how small.
I am a Grand Canyon University graduate “Lope’s Up!” with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I have taught Lifeskills (high-needs special education), Kindergarten, First Grade, High SChool SPED, and Third Grade! I spent the first 7 years of my teaching career with Belgrade School District, but am so happy to be a part of Amsterdam! I believe it is safe to say this school is my favorite- from the staff and students I encounter daily to the supportive parents and community!
When I am not teaching you can find me spending time with my family! My husband Nick and I are foster parents to 2 wonderful boys! Outside of school I enjoy spending time outside, shopping (especially at Target and Amazon), doing crafts, traveling-especially road trips, and baking. My favorite color is yellow! Those who know me know I will never say no to an iced chai tea or popcorn!
